About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for coordinating the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You'll work closely with colleagues to ensure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented, and that customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers
  • Support colleagues in achieving daily priorities and take regular breaks
  • Open and close the store, ensuring all decisions made are right for everyone's safety
  • Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day-to-day queries
  • Maintain a great understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions to improve the store's running
  • Lead from the front and set a great example for colleagues in everything you do
