Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across various claims operational sectors to identify, plan, and implement enhancements that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Claims Continuous Improvement team by focusing on waste reduction, cycle time improvement, and automation identification.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at process enhancement, utilizing a problem-solving, data-driven, and evidence-based methodology for recommendations and decision-making.
  • Participate in project teams to execute agreed-upon changes, establishing objectives, planning activities, and ensuring that critical milestones are achieved.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to assess and enhance process efficiency.
  • Ensure that both financial and non-financial benefits are recognized, tracked, and realized.
  • Conduct reviews post-implementation to confirm successful delivery.
  • Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement within the organization.
  • Mentor and coach process owners and front-line staff to develop self-service capabilities.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in an Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement role is essential.
  • Certification as a Lean or Green Belt practitioner with relevant practical experience across various industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile project environments is advantageous.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to effectively plan and execute data collection and analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Capability to identify, track, and facilitate the achievement of planned benefits and outcomes for programs and projects.
  • Numerate and comfortable discussing both financial and non-financial benefits with finance and business leaders.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
