PPA Cover Educator

Location: Barnoldswick (BB18)

Salary: £120 - £150 per day

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and oversee a variety of lessons across the school, focusing on Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistants throughout the school.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and staff members.
  • Ensure that students receive a high standard of education during the teacher's absence.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and a commitment to enhancing educational standards.
  • Demonstrate effective behavior management techniques.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or HLTA qualification, with ECT or relevant experience.
  • Strong dedication to safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of students.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
