About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated SEND and Inclusion team at Leigh Academy Dartford. As a key member of our team, you will provide support for pupils with special educational needs, working closely with our class teachers to meet the bespoke needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scaffolding and intervention to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs
  • Support pupils in lessons, using your knowledge of maths and English to help them access the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with our class teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Think creatively and adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of our pupils
