Pharmacist Role

A leading pharmacy in Carmarthen is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team.

The pharmacy is a well-established store in the heart of a vibrant community, offering a wide range of services to meet the needs of local residents. The team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to patients, and the pharmacy is committed to delivering high-quality services.

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing advice on minor ailments, and delivering seasonal vaccinations. You will also have the opportunity to develop additional services in line with evolving community needs, which will be rewarded through a commission scheme.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package. The pharmacy's normal opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30/6pm, with no weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing prescriptions and providing advice on minor ailments
  • Delivering seasonal vaccinations and other services
  • Developing additional services in line with community needs
  • Working as part of a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and support to patients

Person Specification:

  • Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
  • Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
