Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Didcot Community Hospital in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support ward staff in their day-to-day work and development, promoting interdisciplinary team working.
  • Provide information, training, and support to promote effective patient care and discharge from the ward area.
  • Lead a team of Healthcare Assistants and peers to ensure a high standard of patient-centred care.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and auditing of standards of care in the ward area.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and share key issues across the ward team.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Work proactively as the ward and bed co-ordinator, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Person Specification
  • Current NMC RN Level One or due to qualify following completion of University degree.
  • Evidence of ongoing development and education.
