Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Primary team at a well-regarded school in Havering. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to teachers and students, contributing to a stimulating and nurturing educational environment.

Our school is a local authority maintained, mixed school in Havering for children aged 4 to 11 years old. We are proud of our GOOD Ofsted rating, recognized for our inclusive and supportive atmosphere, strengthened by positive relationships between students and staff and a strong commitment to high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching support across various year groups
  • Assist in creating a stimulating and nurturing educational environment
  • Support the development of students, helping them to reach their full potential
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable)
  • Enthusiasm about working with children and supporting their development
  • A clear DBS check
  • Legal right to work in the UK
