Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Welsh-Medium Primary School in Cardiff. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of our pupils, aged 3-11.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting teachers in implementing creative lesson plans, supporting Key Stage 1 pupils, and working in small groups with children aged 5-7. You will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of patience and care when dealing with challenging behaviour, and create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for our pupils.

Requirements:
  • At least 40 days of relevant experience over the last 2-3 years
  • Ability to speak Welsh
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a hardworking nature
  • Empathy, calmness, problem-solving skills, and ability to build effective working relationships
