Our client, a leading provider of recruitment solutions, is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the allocation of properties, ensuring that management of void properties is carried out in line with allocation policy and voids procedures, to minimize void rent loss and other costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the allocations process, including nominations, mutual exchanges, and transfers, ensuring the voids and lettings systems are maintained on the Housing Management System.
  • Ensuring that all properties are allocated in accordance with the company's allocation policy.
  • Managing the voids process, including voids inspections, voids reports, and voids management.
  • Working closely with the lettings team to ensure that all lettings are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants and other stakeholders.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the social housing sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
