We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial. The successful candidate will be responsible for making inter-depot deliveries across the country, operating curtain-sided trailers, and occasionally delivering tyres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a curtain-sided trailer for inter-depot deliveries
  • Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle for a variety of tasks
  • Deliver tyres manually
  • Work a 8-12 hour day
  • Make 46 deliveries per day

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Ability to work a varied schedule
  • Manual handling skills
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in the East Birmingham area and will be required to work a varied schedule, including early morning starts. The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
