Vela Medical Group Ltd requires an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a long-term locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop management plans for patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions autonomously.
  • Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a GP surgery or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
