CDM Advisor Job Description

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a dedicated CDM Advisor to join their team in Cardiff. As a CDM Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and promoting health and safety best practices across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on CDM 2015 regulations to clients and project teams.
  • Prepare and review pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
  • Conduct design risk assessments and help identify hazard elimination strategies.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Deliver CDM and health and safety training to clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure a seamless integration of health and safety into the project process.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a construction-related field.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with IOSH or APS is desirable.
  • Proven experience in providing CDM advisory services and health and safety consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
