About the Role
The Distribution Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in the Purchasing team at Radwell International, supporting the procurement of goods and services to meet the company's needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Expedite purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Calculate the best source for items, find new vendors, and generate purchase orders
- Confirm purchase orders with vendors, ensuring accurate pricing, part numbers, and lead times
- Handle discrepancies, adjust purchase orders and sales orders as needed, and inform relevant parties of changes
- Follow up on purchase orders and unconfirmed POs within a 48-hour time frame
- Assist with customer expedites, vendor expedites, and inquiries about purchases
- Place purchase orders with vendors or online
- Assist with the purchasing of non-stock items
- Resolve issues and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Internet searching
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a timely and concise manner
- Strong team player with ability to maintain confidential information
- Fluency in English (additional languages an asset)
