About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our cohesive team at Forth Valley Vets in Stirling, Scotland. As an Equine Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing specialist ambulatory care to our farm, smallholder, and equine clients in the Central belt and beyond.

Our farm workload is approximately 30% dairy and 70% beef and sheep, offering a diverse range of cases. We pride ourselves on our progressive approach to fertility planning and preventative medicine, as well as our ability to offer lameness investigations, endoscopy, and gastroscopy.

As an Equine Veterinary Surgeon, you will be working with a variety of leisure horses and ponies, with the opportunity to develop your skills in routine care, lameness investigations, and emergency procedures.

We offer a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with the option to consider part-time for the right candidate. You will be required to work the out-of-hours rota, which is 1 in 5. A valid UK driving license is essential.
