Inside Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new sales leads, building relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound calls to new prospects to introduce our company's products and services.
  • Develop and execute targeted communication strategies to entice new prospects and qualify them for the sales pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date on our company's products and services to effectively pitch and answer questions from new prospects.
  • Negotiate and persuade new prospects to obtain the client, while handling any objections during the sales meeting.
  • Keep our CRM system up-to-date with detailed notes after each sales meeting, ensuring accuracy in tracking the sales process.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPI targets for outbound calls, qualified new leads, and appointments booked.
  • Complete follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer additional questions, and convert them into prospective appointments/sales for the future.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Previous telesales (B2B) experience is required.
  • Experience working to targeted KPIs– daily, weekly, monthly.
  • Prior experience using a CRM, sales software, and other office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers.
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, organisation, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Preferred experience in an outbound call centre or order desk environment.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and highly communicable.
  • Self-starter, conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic.
