**Job Summary**

The Transport Support Clerk will provide administrative support to the Transport Department, reporting to the Transport Shift Manager. This role involves general administration tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the transport department.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Briefing and Debriefing Drivers**: Ensure accurate and timely briefing and debriefing of drivers, including providing necessary information and documentation.
  • **Administrative Tasks**: Perform administrative tasks, such as checking timesheets, ensuring paperwork is correct and alphabetized, and issuing information to drivers.
  • **Dispatch and Logistics**: Assist with dispatch and logistics tasks, including printing despatch notes, replenishing despatch paper, and updating spreadsheets.
  • **Communication**: Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely communication with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • **Data Management**: Download drivers' cards/tachographs, update spreadsheets, and ensure accurate data management.
  • **Reporting**: Report any overspill and complete relevant paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
