PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Due to the continued international growth and success of the firm, an established, qualified accountant (5+ years PQE) is needed to join the Financial Control team. Responsibilities will include various accounting and control activities focusing on international entities, ensuring compliance and addressing technical accounting requirements as the firm expands into new jurisdictions.

THE TEAM
The Group Finance team at Addleshaw Goddard consists of professionals across disciplines such as Financial Control, Tax, Procurement, and more. The Financial Control team plays a key role in preparing financial statements, balance sheet reporting, and ensuring compliance across the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Monthly accounting and reporting
  • Intercompany matrix management
  • Foreign exchange accounting
  • Involvement in project work and business partnering
  • Line management of junior team members

REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Accounting qualification with 5+ years PQE
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Strong audit management skills
  • Demonstrated control mindset and ability to drive financial controls
  • Proven collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong IT systems knowledge
