Position Overview
A Regulatory Compliance Specialist is sought for the Quality & Technical division of a prominent manufacturer. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to product regulations, managing technical documentation, and facilitating the execution of the product development strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical & Compliance team in maintaining the compliance of the product portfolio within a complex international regulatory landscape.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and organize Product Information Files (PIF) on SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all required documentation for the PIF is readily available.
  • Share essential information with the EU Responsible Person for the completion of Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR) and EU Product Notifications.
  • Ensure that UK Cosmetic Product Notifications are submitted through the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS).
  • Complete US Cosmetic Product Notifications via the FDA and California Safe Cosmetics portal.
  • Handle country-specific product notifications, such as those for Health Canada.
  • Address customer-specific product information requests.
  • Support the development process by reviewing and approving artwork and product samples.
  • Generate and provide necessary documentation to facilitate international customer product registration.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all new developments comply with both external and internal technical agreements.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a systematic approach to the organization and filing of critical technical product documentation.

Work Schedule
This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with an office-based contract that offers hybrid working options.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be either a recent graduate seeking their initial role in the industry or an experienced Compliance/Regulatory professional with a background in cosmetics. Additional qualifications include:
  • A recognized qualification, preferably in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.
  • A solid understanding of UK/EU regulations.
  • Experience in supporting various projects.
  • Proficiency with systems such as Office, Teams, and NetSuite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong desire to succeed, develop, and advance within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role ranges from £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience. A competitive benefits package is also offered, along with opportunities for career progression within a successful and expanding manufacturer.
