**About the Role**
Reed is seeking a highly skilled Certification Engineer to join our team in supporting a manufacturing client in Medway. As a key member of the quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in the production process.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the product approval process from initial application to completion of third-party certification.
- Coordinate and report on the Engineering Change Request system to ensure activities are managed and effectively completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain all product and quality system related documentation and ensure they are up-to-date and controlled.
- Develop and implement an internal product audit schedule, perform all necessary duties as an internal auditor.
- Support senior quality staff during day-to-day quality control and Quality assurance activities.
- Provide engineering support to operational departments to ensure consistent application of quality techniques.
**Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
- Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience.
- Ability to read and understand Technical and Engineering drawings.
- Level 4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles.
