Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education is currently working with an SEN school in the Edenbridge area that requires an SEN Teaching Assistant with a background of working with students with mental health conditions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1to1 and small group basis with ASD / SLD and/or Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with ASD, SLD, and Behavioural Needs in a 1to1 and small group setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Work closely with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with mental health conditions
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly ASD and SLD
  • Ability to work with students with Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
