Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Marcus Webb Associates Limited. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of power electronics solutions for electric vehicle and e-mobility applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of power electronics solutions for electric vehicle and e-mobility applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative power electronics solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design teams
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications for power electronics designs
  • Conduct technical evaluations and assessments of power electronics designs and solutions
Requirements
  • Strong academic background in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with power electronics design tools and software
  • Knowledge of power electronics design principles and practices
  • Experience with PCB layout and design
  • Ability to work with mechanical design teams to develop designs into full working prototypes
