As our Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our charity as well as managing a small, dedicated team. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, providing expert analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Regulatory compliance and audit
  • Management accounting

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a senior finance role, ideally in the charity sector
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP, Charity SORP, and tax regulations
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Experience of Xero preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
