Role Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in Primavera P6 EPPM and SAP Financial applications to enhance project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team of experts to ensure effective project budget management, including the creation and maintenance of schedules, actuals, and forecasts.
• Analyze project progress against established work schedules and generate comprehensive reports on performance and forecasts.
• Contribute to multiple projects within the Capital Plan, aggregating outputs to develop program-level plans, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reports.
Accountabilities:
• Deliver weekly status updates on significant business projects to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare short-term (3-month) cash-flow forecasts for capital projects, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Maintain an up-to-date medium-term (12-month rolling) cash-flow forecast for the capital program.
• Provide long-term project and program insights to support strategic planning.
Additional Duties:
• Assist in the development and oversight of the overall Capital Expenditure plan, covering various business planning periods.
• Support retention management initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and Strategic Programme Management suppliers to identify capital expenditure efficiencies through standardization and work bundling.
Quality Assurance:
• Audit commercial management services and contractor performance to uphold high standards.
• Participate in recruitment efforts within the Project Controls team, particularly for entry-level positions.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle Primavera P6 enterprise tool is essential.
• Proficient in updating and manipulating the system to create tailored reports while ensuring governance and control in project delivery.
Technical Skills:
• Ability to specify the technical environment for implementation, provide installation support, and integrate with other internal systems.
• Experience in integrating Primavera P6 with other enterprise systems, including custom report writing and data migration from various platforms.
Preferred Background:
• Familiarity with industry-standard scheduling, profiling, and cost management tools, including Primavera and SAP.
• Significant experience in delivering both near-term and medium-term project cash-flow forecasts (12-month rolling).
• A foundation qualification in Project Controls or Project Management recognized by professional bodies is advantageous.
• A background in commercial roles, such as Quantity Surveying, is preferred but not mandatory, along with experience in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects under regulatory constraints.
