Job Title: Import Logistics Coordinator

Signet Recruitment and Retention is seeking an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in Denham, Uxbridge.

Job Description

As an Import Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth importation of goods into the UK. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating imports, sourcing, repairs, and return material authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate imports, sourcing, repairs, and return material authorization to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize the importation process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
  • Control the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge.
  • Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and other relevant paperwork.
  • Work closely with import brokers to resolve any issues and ensure compliance with import regulations.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned experience in the international transportation or logistics industry and IPR process knowledge.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience of using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems experience would be beneficial (can be trained).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated, organized, and practical.
  • Team Player.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.
