Job Title: Bank Early Years Practitioner

At Bright Horizons, we're seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you'll have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, blending the convenience of Bank / Locum / Agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate individual to support our nursery team in delivering high-quality care and education to our young children. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you'll be responsible for engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding
  • Maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
