Direct Response Employment Services is proud to be supporting our client in Corsham who are seeking a Tax Auditor to join their accountancy firm on a permanent basis.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Auditor to provide quality tax services to clients and ensure they are compliant with tax regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking tax compliance for clients, including self-assessment returns, sole trade and partnership tax checks, and preparing and submitting capital gains and declarations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tax advice to clients on an ad-hoc basis as queries arise.
- Assist with tax planning as required.
- Join in client meetings as required.
- Highlight any cross-sell opportunities to the tax manager.
- Assist with general tax department deadlines to ensure all are met and payment reminders sent.
- Help to develop and maintain the internal systems to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all tax work.
- Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client's businesses.
We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Auditor with previous experience in the field or AAT qualified. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
The salary for this role is between £24k - £28k, although with experience this can be negotiable. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
