Salary: £27,815.21 per annum

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 44.5 hours (Monday to Friday and every other Saturday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Weighbridge Technician to become an integral part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct incoming traffic at the facility while operating the weighbridge.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Wastemetrix system for effective weighbridge operations.
  • Accurately log weights and waste types for each vehicle, ensuring proper documentation and obtaining driver signatures.
  • Efficiently process delivery notes and tickets.
  • Immediately report any discrepancies or errors in the weighbridge system to the relevant personnel.
  • Verify the accuracy of waste yardage reports and ensure correct charges.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and site visitors, addressing inquiries both in person and electronically.
  • Inform weighbridge customers of site regulations and provide necessary guidance.
