Exciting Opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our team at a successful independent firm of accountants in Croydon. As part of a national network, this firm values teamwork, professionalism, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a diverse client portfolio with financial expertise
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and tax returns
  • Assist with VAT returns and ensure compliance
  • Mentor junior staff to develop their skills
  • Liaise with HMRC and clients to resolve queries
  • Promote excellent customer service and build strong relationships
  • Continuously develop professionally to stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

  • Pursuing ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent
  • Prior experience in practice, preferably in a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships
