**About the Role**

Wood is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lead to join its Operations EMEA business. As a key member of the Commercial function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of commercial projects and initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide direction and leadership for all commercial personnel working within designated projects, covering all corporate and project commercial deliverables throughout both pre and post-contract activities.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports in commercial processes and procedures, personnel development, and training.
  • Support the Commercial Manager with the delivery of commercial reporting to corporate functions and ensure all commercial procedures are followed and reviewed.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of key policies and procedures, including the Financial Management Framework and Tender Governance Procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or professional qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in contractual claims and dispute resolution would be advantageous.
  • Experience in interpretation of contractual documentation.
  • Experience in tendering and negotiation.
  • Supervisory skills.
