The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and submission of planning applications, conducting site appraisals and feasibility studies, and liaising with internal teams, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure that our projects meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications for residential developments, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  2. Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies to identify potential development opportunities and assess the viability of projects.
  3. Liaise with local authorities, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Manage the planning process, including negotiations with planning officers and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Monitor and manage planning conditions and obligations post-permission, ensuring that all requirements are met and that projects are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  6. Stay updated on changes in planning policy and legislation relevant to residential development, ensuring that our projects are compliant with the latest regulations.
  7. Provide expert planning advice to support land acquisition and project development, ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in planning and development, with a strong understanding of planning policy and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex planning issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
