The University seeks a highly skilled Commercialisation & IP Manager to play a key role in developing and growing its commercialisation and IP activities. This role will work closely with the Commercialisation & IP Team to build a pipeline of IP-based commercialisation opportunities, particularly spin-out opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the University's commercialisation and IP strategy, working closely with academic, business, and investor teams.
- Provide IP and IPR guidance, opportunity identification, analysis, prosecution, and portfolio management.
- Develop training materials, programmes, and collaborations to enhance the technology transfer and commercialisation capability, capacity, and culture at the University.
- Work closely with the Henley Business Angels investor network to ensure successful commercialisation of IP-based opportunities.
- Manage income from research and innovation projects associated with commercialisation activity.
This role requires a strong understanding of commercialisation and IP activities, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving commercialisation and IP activities in a university or similar setting.
