About the Role

Sewell Wallis is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team in Sheffield. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing the tax function and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Tax Returns: Prepare and submit personal, partnership, and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, advising on tax liabilities and corresponding with HMRC as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the accounts department to ensure seamless integration of tax and financial services.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all tax returns are completed, filed, and billed in a timely manner, and that all necessary financial statements are finalized and filed.
  • P11D Benefits Reporting: Obtain and report relevant details for P11D benefits reporting, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a practice working environment, with a strong background in both personal and corporate tax.
  • Qualifications: Part-qualified or qualified in a relevant field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
