Role Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee the management of raw material inventories in alignment with customer demand and production schedules. This role involves close collaboration with growers and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage raw material stock levels in relation to customer forecasts and orders.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule Packhouse operations effectively.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with growers and suppliers.
  • Order transportation services while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Place orders with growers for immediate needs based on confirmed purchase orders.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts for 3-12 weeks, tracking orders to ensure completion.
  • Manage inbound freight orders across various transportation methods.
  • Update and confirm purchase orders with growers as necessary.
  • Address supply gaps by collaborating with suppliers and the purchasing team.
  • Provide forward-looking projections for transportation needs to support future orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
