About the Role

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a skilled Preparation Technician to join their Aftersales team at their multi-franchise Lincoln dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections on all vehicles according to the pre-delivery inspection checklist.
  • Carry out collection inspections on all vehicles prior to customer delivery, in line with the checklist.
  • Complete minor services on vehicles as required.
  • Complete minor repairs where necessary.
  • Accessories vehicles as and when required.
  • Ensure all work carried out meets health and safety requirements, as well as meeting Pentagon and manufacturer standards of quality.
  • Report additional repair or safety issues to the Workshop Manager that require further work and cost.
Requirements
  • Previous Workshop experience.
  • A minimum City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Repair.
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • A full UK manual driving licence.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • A Team Player mentality.
