Senior Producer of Comedy and Entertainment Podcasts

This pivotal role is under the direction of the Head of Comedy and Entertainment Podcasts.

As the podcast industry experiences significant growth, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Producer to join the Tvcrossing Podcast team.

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee a portfolio of leading, commercially viable podcast productions while guiding, mentoring, and inspiring a team of podcast creators.

Your expertise will be crucial in:

  • Managing relationships with talent and setting high creative benchmarks.
  • Producing engaging and entertaining podcasts that captivate a wide audience.
  • Collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to producing some of the most popular shows in the sector.
Creative Development

In this role, you will:

  • Develop innovative formats and partner creatively with exciting comedic and entertainment figures.
  • Understand Tvcrossing's podcast strategy and how your projects will align with it.
  • Establish and communicate your creative vision and development processes across the team.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with talent and leverage your network to introduce new projects.
  • Create a robust pipeline of shows within the Comedy and Entertainment genre.
Team Leadership

You will lead a small team of producers focused on comedy and entertainment podcasts, ensuring adherence to Tvcrossing's strategic goals and values.

Content Creation and Promotion

Your role will also involve:

  • Generating fresh podcast formats and ideas in collaboration with talent and their representatives.
  • Creating additional short-form or social media content to enhance audience engagement.
  • Working with internal teams to ensure effective production, marketing, and promotion of podcasts.
  • Enhancing the knowledge of podcast producers regarding remote and live location recording.
  • Coordinating campaigns across various departments to successfully launch new shows.
Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with presenters, talent, and agents while collaborating with insights and data teams to adopt a data-driven approach to production and creativity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record as a seasoned producer in podcasts or live radio.
  • Strong talent management capabilities and the ability to meet focused briefs and production timelines.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the podcasting landscape, including industry trends and the commercial aspects of podcasting.
  • Expertise in promoting podcasts effectively and overseeing the creation of supplementary content to drive audience growth.
