Job Title: 7.5T Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5T delivery driver to join our team at Driver Hire Southampton. As a 7.5T delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering fixtures and fittings or insulation materials across the South Coast, providing excellent service to customers.

About the Role:
  • Position: 7.5T Driver (drive 3.5T vehicles depending on deliveries)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Start Time: 7:00 am (8-10-hour shifts)
  • Contract: 12-week temp to perm/ Ongoing contract
  • Deliveries: 10-15 drops per day
  • Duties: Operating tail lift and pump truck for loading and unloading, delivering fixtures and fittings or insulation materials
Requirements:
  • Licence: Full and clean UK 7.5T driving licence
  • Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Experience: Previous delivery driving experience preferred
  • Skills: Good geographical knowledge of the South Coast, excellent communication, and customer service skills
  • Attributes: Punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to company policies
