Job Summary:

As a Store Manager at Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc, you will be responsible for leading a team to create a culture where customer experience is the best in the market, in line with the company's brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to ensure the store is a great place for people to work and shop, with a focus on commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including recruitment, induction, training, and development of team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, understanding the important role the store plays in supporting the community.
• Manage store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in fast-paced, service-focused environments such as retail, convenience, or hospitality.
• Passion for spotting and developing talent, as well as rolling up sleeves to support the team in delivering store objectives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
