About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating a team to maintain high standards of performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team, assigning tasks and providing guidance, and writing Performance Reviews in line with policy.
  • Carry out assigned tasks, including picking, packing, conditioning service and repair, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles.
  • Monitor and manage sickness levels, ensuring all RTW (Return to Work) interviews are conducted and escalating the process if required.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and prioritise workflow to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including managers, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping/receiving processes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
  • Performance management - experience in monitoring and evaluating team performance, providing feedback and taking disciplinary actions when required.
