Job Overview
Our client, a reputable and expanding specialist surveying consultancy, is seeking a Construction Surveyor to enhance their team on a hybrid work model. This role will focus on the Cambridgeshire region and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Company
This consultancy excels in delivering comprehensive surveying services, particularly within the educational sector, including academy surveying, funding solutions, and strategic estate planning for clients across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing estate strategies, managing contracts, and overseeing project-based tasks.
  • Collaborating with clients on various projects throughout the Cambridge area.
  • Occasionally reporting to the head office while working remotely with the Cambridge team.
  • Coordinating with the Director to ensure project success.
  • Managing and delivering refurbishment and new construction projects in the education sector.
  • Advising academy trusts on estate management and energy strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a consultancy setting.
  • Familiarity with building and construction practices in the educational field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driving license is required due to the nature of the role.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: £30,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days for Christmas.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Car allowance and pension scheme.
  • Early finish on Fridays.
  • Support for APC training.
  • Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
