We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide knowledgeable assistance to operating surgeons and surgical teams during the full intraoperative pathway.
- Deliver high-quality patient care and manage patients during procedures performed under general, regional, and local anaesthetic.
- Develop skills and speciality-based knowledge to support surgical practice in Theatres following rotation plan in Theatres.
- Provide a high standard of compassionate patient-centred care.
- Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff within the team.
- Communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Take charge of the given shift for a surgical operating list and a group of patients in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Person-in-charge or Clinical Matron.

Requirements- Professional registration
- Scrub experience in Ophthalmology for at least 6 months
- Work experience in Ophthalmology Areas / Department
