Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a leading Planning & Development Consultancy in their hire of an ambitious Urban Planner to their Bristol based team.

The consultancy is comprised of specialists in Planning, Design, Transport, Infrastructure, and Heritage, who work collaboratively to deliver results. Due to an exciting pipeline of work, they are now seeking to expand the team with the addition of an experienced Urban Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake public consultation, preparing, submitting, and monitoring planning applications, as well as collating evidence for appeals, negotiating applications, and managing projects.
  • Research, prepare, submit planning applications, statements, and appraisals, or experience in dealing with pre-application enquiries, determining applications, and preparing Officer Reports.
  • Gain experience in planning practice (public or private).

Requirements:

  • Chartered member of the RTPI or working towards the APC.
  • Previous experience in researching, preparing, submitting planning applications, statements, and appraisals, or experience in dealing with pre-application enquiries, determining applications, and preparing Officer Reports.
