About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that promote physical fitness, health, and teamwork among students.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons that meet curriculum objectives and promote student engagement.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and promotes physical fitness.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them develop their physical skills and confidence.
- Extracurricular Activities: Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, tournaments, and events.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Physical Education with other areas of the curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Assessment and Record-Keeping: Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and achievements.
- Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during Physical Education lessons and activities, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Qualifications: Qualified Physical Education Teacher with relevant teaching qualifications (QTS) and certifications.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Physical Education to students.
- Passion: Passionate about promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
