Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team in St Leonards-on-Sea. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will help to develop a range of product solutions to meet the needs of new and advanced avionic and maritime platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design digital and analog circuits for avionic and maritime systems
  • Work on the development life-cycle from requirements to production handover via design, schematic capture, design analysis, commissioning and integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components
  • Design and develop electronic systems for avionic and maritime platforms
  • Contribute to the development of conceptual designs for new products and systems

Requirements

  • Qualification in hardware, electronics or an electronic systems engineering discipline
  • Experience in the defence, avionics, aerospace or naval systems industry
  • Proficiency in hardware design and verification in digital and analog circuits
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics toolset (training will be provided)
  • Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) is desirable
