Procurement Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at TQR Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and components.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Technical Evaluation: Assess technical specifications and ensure that purchased materials and components meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering Discipline.
  • Proven experience working within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Advantageous Experience:
  • Previous experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • CIPS qualification.
  • Six Sigma Qualification.
