About the Role
CDS Defence & Security, a leading technical consultancy within the Bailie Group, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class services in support engineering, cybersecurity, and information assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert cybersecurity support and oversight to clients in the defence and security domain.
- Develop and implement Human Computer Interaction (HCI) solutions, including agile engineering approaches.
- Conduct Human Machine Interface (HMI) assessments, spatial, workplace, and workspace assessments, and provide expert advice on human factors integration.
- Develop and manage Human Factors Integration Plans (HFIP) and provide technical human factors support to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in applying human factors in a related sector.
- Experience in providing human factors support to safety cases, including development and substantiation of human-based safety claims.
- Experience in applying human reliability (failure) assessment methods and techniques within the high-hazard industry.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Chartered membership or willingness to work towards chartered membership with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF).
