Data Governance Manager | Greenfield Project | FinTech Company

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Manager to join our prestigious FinTech company, which delivers SaaS products offering real-time market feeds and pricing information, comparable with platforms like Bloomberg and Reuters.

The successful candidate will join a greenfield team and project to build out a new data governance platform from scratch, taking over from a 3rd party supplier. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and understand sources or systems that require governance, including data location and ownership.
  • Establish data quality standards and metrics to track data quality.
  • Develop documentation, guidelines, and policies for data management.
  • Build a data governance platform, including implementing data lineage and catalogue tools.
  • Manage PII, GDPR compliance, and data requests.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with implementing data governance frameworks and methodologies, including data management and governance tools like Collibra, Purview, and Atlan. Experience working with a modern cloud data tech stack and establishing data governance processes in business data sources like Salesforce, Marketo, and NetSuite is also essential.

We are looking for a candidate who can persuade and sell data governance concepts to resistant team members and has a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
