About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Broomgrove Nursing Home. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our clinical nurse manager, clinical lead, and other nurses on duty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and complete healthcare records and reports
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor for side effects and reactions
  • Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments
  • Record patient vital signs and medical information into our electronic system
  • Order medical diagnostic and clinical tests
  • Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
  • Administer non-intravenous medications
  • Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
  • Modify patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse/ Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse/ Registered Mental health Nurse with a valid NMC pin (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong clinical skills
  • A professional, friendly attitude
  • Quick learner, able to implement our staff values within the team
  • Motivated and enthusiastic on mentoring and coaching all the staff
  • Drive and focus to provide excellent customer service and quality of care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and an up-to-date understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations, and standards
