We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Cadley Hill facility. This role reports directly to the Purchasing Manager and is crucial for overseeing the Goods Inwards and Stores department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all incoming deliveries of purchased goods, ensuring accurate checks for quantity, documentation, and condition.
  • Timely and accurate input of all purchase order receipts into the system.
  • Monitor and manage consumable inventory, collaborating with purchasing and specific suppliers, while maintaining Kanban systems.
  • Organize and maintain storage of purchased goods and related documentation to ensure full traceability.
  • Provide timely support to Manufacturing by preparing stock requisitions and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Maintain security and safety protocols for bonded storage areas during operational hours.
  • Prepare stock requisitions within one hour of receipt.
  • Ensure data entry of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and stock requisitions is completed within three hours of receipt, with full accuracy prior to stock audits or month-end processes.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Forklift truck certification is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with manual handling in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Adaptable to varying work hours and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and excels as a team player.
