Senior Tax Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of tax accountants and working closely with directors to manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of tax accountants and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Work with directors to develop and implement tax strategies for clients, including corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Support advisory work with clients, including tax due diligence exercises and providing training and development for colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • CTA qualified with experience leading a tax function.
  • Technically proficient, with tax advisory and planning experience.
  • Demonstrable management skills with good people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
