Job Overview

Nexere Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Analyst to join our team in a permanent, hybrid role based in Central London. As a key member of our Outwards Reinsurance team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Outwards Reinsurance with daily reporting and processing of our outwards reinsurance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To produce Management Information (MI) Reports of all outgoing Reinsurance contracts/transactions, including both premiums and claims;
  • To oversee the Outwards Reinsurance (ORI) processing at S1856, including: Collating all ORI placements (XoL, Proportional, Quota Share, and Facultative) and ensuring these are recorded into the ORI system in a timely manner
  • Oversee ORI aged debt, Reinsurance security, and counterparty limit management in the MI reporting packs.
  • Oversee the ORI recovery procedures, such as processing release statements, trust agreements, and contracts with all pertinent parties, as well as collateral Reinsurance management of ORI releases and withdrawals.
  • Communicate with custodians, brokers, and LOC providers to handle top-ups and releases of collateral.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a senior Outwards reinsurance role within an insurance/reinsurance company
  • Attention to detail, excellent due diligence and investigative skills
  • Strong analytical, written and communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business in a confident and professional manner.
  • IT literate with experience of third-party management systems.

What We Offer:

Nexere Consulting Limited offers a competitive salary of up to £69,000 per annum, plus benefits, and a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office.
